First Week Discussion

Prototype is something you create as a basic form of a project or product you intend to make, you test it, push it to the users, listen to their ideas about it and refine as many times as needed. It can be in many different forms, like a computer program, an image, a sketch. To built a prototype, first you need the requirements of the users, then you need to estimate the cost and time needed to build it, and you need engineers to built it and users to test and comment on it. Prototypes help development team to understand and meet users' requirements in a relatively short period and create a finished product. A prototype is usually needed when the users' requirements are hard to express to the development team or when the product is important and needed very soon.
